What Causes Back Pain?

If you have a flu or if you catch cold or have a mild head ache, it is also possible that you complain having body aches. If not a body ache then these would be accompanied by a back pain. Back pain is one of the most common problems on the earth and should therefore be treated with utmost respect.

Many people do not understand that the sick feeling they get their in their backs every time when they get up or sit down is a problem that has to be treated. Almost 98% causes of the back pain are showered by people themselves because of their 'bad habits' of using their bodies. Some of the most common causes of back pain are:

  • Slouching
  • Driving cars while the back is bent
  • Driving bikes on bumpy roads
  • Holding the back uptight while standing
  • Bending in a wrong way
  • Calcium Deficiency
  • Obesity
  • Poor diet
  • Pregnancy and Menses (for women)
  • Lack of proper exercise
  • Working with computers
  • Accidents

Of all the causes stated above only the back pain caused to women because of pregnancy and menses is a naturally caused one. Otherwise all the reasons are more or less caused by people themselves (except in case of accidents). However with little care and with a few basic corrections can cure the back pain with out any side effects. Ofcourse medicines do provide the required ease to the back.

Keeping the back erect while walking, running, sleeping, and especially when working on computer helps very much. When you think that it pains, you can always take a breather and give your back some relaxation. Also there is no as good a medicine for back pain as is regular stretching exercise.
