There are various treatments aimed at relieving back pain. The latest research studies revealed some of the methods that really work for back pain.
Going for 12 weeks of yoga classes resulted in great improvement in adults with chronic low back pain. Yoga showed good results over conventional treatments like medications and physical therapy.
Adults with chronic low back pain experienced less pain when underwent weekly massages for nearly 10 weeks than those who didn’t. Massage works best for muscle related pain such as hamstrings.
Low back pain sufferers who underwent acupuncture were more likely to observe improved symptoms than those who received conventional treatments.
In a 2010 research study, people who participated in cognitive behavior therapy for nearly 3 months had double the improvement in low back pain than those who hadn’t.
